SLX MicroSim 1.0
Our flagship product the MicroSim 1.0 utilizes 3D motion capture technology to capture swing metrics and translate that into simulated golf. Intended for use with foam golf balls or using the SLX Swing Stick for indoor play, travel, or smaller spaces. Perfect for fun, beginner golfers, cold weather environments, and those just stepping into the fun of indoor simulated golf.
SLX MicroSim 2.0
Designed specifically for use with real clubs and balls. The MicroSim 2.0 Pro-Pack comes with a full set of smart cradles that auto-recognize the club being used to make play even more seamless. Completely redesigned using the latest 3D motion capture chips, the MicroSim 2.0 provides even more accurate feedback and is specifcally tuned for approach shots and putting to allow you to hone in on attack distances out on the course.
Nano sensor
COMING SOON - The Nano Sensor utilizes the same cutting edge motion capture chip as the MicroSim 2.0, but with a convenient design that clips on the back of your golf glove, making it possible to utilize during your golf round to track swing metrics and auto-scoring for post round analysis. Think Arccos but with much more detailed feedback including swing metrics.
What is the difference between the Basic Pack and the Stick pack?
The MicroSim 1.0 Stick pack includes the 3D Motion capture sensor, a weighted indoor swing stick that makes a sound during the swing, and several cradles used to attach the MicroSim to the swing stick, putter, or full clubs if hitting foam golf balls.
The Basic Pack comes with a full set of cradles for installing the MicroSim 1.0 on your own golf clubs if you plan to utlilze foam golf balls.
Our bundle packs include foam golf balls, a Basic Pack, and our Swing Stick Pro to handle all situations.
Can the MicroSim 1.0 be used with real clubs and balls?
One limitation of the MicroSim 1.0 is that it assumes contact happens at maximum velocity. While the MicroSim 1.0 can be used with real clubs, we suggest foam golf balls for the MicroSim 1.0. The reason for this is if your maximum velocity is happening near impact, the shock and vibration from impact can cause misleading results for some golfers. If you are looking for a product to use with your own clubs and real balls for those grinding range sessions, check out the MicroSim 2.0
Can the MicroSim 2.0 be used with real clubs and balls?
YES. The MicroSim 2.0 was redesigned from the ground up. Unlike the MicroSim 1.0 (and other motion capture competitors) the MicroSim 2.0 looks for and can distinguish when the ball is impacted, resolving the previous limitation relying on maximum velocity. This also means the MicroSim 2.0 can distinguish between a "Free or Practice" swing and a "Hit" Swing. Future updates for on-course tracking using the Nano will take advantage of this capability to provide in round analytics.
What Metrics can the MicroSim Provide?
Taking a unique approach to measuring the actual swing compared with the majority of the launch monitor market which measure the ball flight and then back calculate your club metrics. The Swing Logic Motion Capture series can provide detailed feedback about swing tempo, swing speed, face angle, path angle, attack angle, shaft lean angle. All of these metrics are used to feed the golf simulation programs.
What systems does this work with?
SLX Connect is our free mobile app available for Android, iOS, and Windows. The mobile apps include access to GPS distances for 40,000 courses, and offers upgrades to switch from 2D GPS to 3D Terrain and distances to hazards. Keep track of your swing metrics, video captures, in-round scores and stats all in one place. With a 9-hole course for golf simulation the MicroSim products are useable out of the box. For additional golf simulation access we offer integrations with several leading software providers.

Auto-Trigger Video Record Feature
This is a little known feature within SLX Connect that we are very excited about. Using any of our motion capture or radar products you can conveniently record both front facing and rear facing video of your swing using your phones mobile device. Videos are stored within your SLX Connect Account and can be played back at 20%, 50% or full speed to further analyze your swing.

Radar Launch Monitors (Hybrid Series)
Swing Logics Hybrid Seried launch monitors bring radar based launch monitor costs and capabilities down to make golf technology more accessible.
SLX Hybrid Pro
Our initial radar based launch monitor, which we call the Swiss Army Knife of Golf. The Hybrid Pro uses a single channel radar to deliver shockingly accurate ball speed, clubhead speed, smash factor, and calculated distances. It also includes a large clear LED display, an dintegrated magnet, and HD quality speakers for using listening to your music while playing on the course or practicing at the range. The Hybrid Pro also integrates with SLX Connect to provide GPS distances to 40,000 courses when used during a round to audibly respond with the distance to the green. The Hybrid Pro includes an SLX Smart Marker to use as a remote for audible distances, or to conveniently change the club when using in launch monitor mode.
One of the Premier features of the Hybrid Series radars is the auto-trigger video recording feature. Use your mobile device to take rear facing or front facing video. When swing motion is recognized the camera will automatically record your swing, and break it down into a panoramic of different points during your swing.
SLX Hybrid Mini
Designed to be the most economical launch monitor on the market and with a form factor that can't be beat. The Hybrid Mini has teh same features as teh Hybrid Pro, but in a smaller form and without the 2 HD Quality Speakers.
Capable of displaying GPS distances during play when paired with the SLX Connect Mobile app and includes the same auto-trigger video recording feature as the Hybrid Pro.
What Metrics can the Hybrid Series Provide?
Clubhead Speed, Ball Speed, Smash Factor, and Distance (calculated). However our first of its kind approach to distance calculation allows you the ability to calibrate our algorithm if you have a known distance to enter, or a access to a higher end launch monitor. While our built in algorithm is within 2-3% of $20k launch monitors for distance for most golfers, several metrics such as launch angle, elevation, ball type, and differing lofts for each club can impact the overall results. That is where our unique calibration approach comes in, allowing users to make straight line adjustments to the distance algorithm to lock in distances and allow you to keep track of average, full, and max distances for every club in your back using the Free SLX Connect mobile app.

Pairing a Hybrid Device with the MicroSim 2.0
While the MicroSim 2.0 is amazing, it relies on sensor speed to project to clubhead speed. This clubhead speed assumes standard shaft lengths and average smash factor tables to determine ball speed. For the price... pretty awesome.
The Hybrid products are designed to make speed based launch monitors accessible to a broader market and with some very slick features to boot. As a single channel radar it is limited to providing instant speed and distance feedback, but can't tell you much about ball flight, shot shape, or swing tempo.

The Hybrid series radars and MicroSim 2.0 are designed to work together, providing thh industries first upgradeable launch monitor system. By utilizing bluetooth to pair both devices, the MicroSim 2.0 provides detailed swing metrics and combines with the highly accurate radar based ball and clubhead speed measurements to improve the accuracy that either device is capable of on its own.
